I just had the most weird on-gyn annual at Axia's Women Health office in this building. After the doctor came into the room, we went through what would happen today, basically two exams: Pap smear and a clinical breast exam. The pap went as it should have. But the doctor never touched my breast and told me the CBE is completed. I was so confused and asked her again “Are you going to do the breast exam?” Again she told me “I just did it.” I don’t know how she could have done it without touching my breast?! I’m thinking of calling my insurance and told them about it, because I assume I’ll be billed for a clinical breast exam. Just so so weird.

Horrible experience and predatory billing. I liked my pcp but unfortunately have to leave now! The physician group is no longer in network with my insurance, and no one notified me of this when I scheduled my appointment or verified my benefits. My insurance website lists my pcp as covered, but apparently it's "my responsibility" to ensure that info's actually correct? My insurance is submitting an appeal, but the billing department refuses to put a hold on my due date until the appeal is reviewed. Additionally, I receive a bill on Friday that's due asap? What ever happened to the 30 day notice? This place does not care about patients and the customer service is horrible. Stay away.

ok that’s pretty horrible. “Due to unforeseen circumstances our office can’t take calls.” So, no staff.... I’m bed-ridden from being sick and now how have to get up to try and cancel my appointment thru my computer. never seen this before
