Rule of thumb is 6 ppl on a lane Equals 10 min per person per game... So with 6 on a lane it will take 60 min just to do 1 game. There is no limit to how many can be on a lane? The question is ... How long do you want to wait in-between turns?
I don't know what the max is, but at least 6. I have seen 6 in a lane before.
