5-8 people probably won't be a problem. Greece Canal Park is also right next to it, with 577 acres and bathrooms and pavilions too.

If you are scheduling a party there is no need for it. I would call parks and recreation to verify. Info is on the website or the henpecked park signs within the park. Or call the POLICE on the non emergency phone and ask
