We parked here to walk the trail and my kids made it about 1.25mi out (it’s an out-and-back). Beautiful place to see lots of wildlife. We saw red-winged blackbirds, a swan family, barn swallows, swamp sparrows, red-eared sliders of all sizes, a few fish including a gar, and lots of beautiful wildflowers. The boardwalk is well-maintained. Lots of shade (except on the boardwalk over the river) and lovely river views.

Great park to watch birds and turtles. The boardwalk is nice to walk to the lake. Parking lot fills up fast on the weekends. Heads up for accessibility- there is a very steep hill right at the beginning from the parking lot to the boardwalk.

Turning point park is a wonderful walk and very scenic. I'm in a wheelchair and the path is paved and then boardwalk. Some rough areas are noted with spray paint and doable. I even fish on the boardwalk occasionally. My go to walk.

One of Rochester’s hidden gems! How often do you get to walk over and through a natural marsh without ever getting your feet wet? We saw cranes catching fish, turtles swimming, lilly pads, swans and fish. We’ll definitely come back here again some day!

WHO is supposed to be maintaining the park? The "rain gardens" are loaded with trash and totally overgrown with weeds the are 10 feet high...so glad all that money was spent for nothing...
