Very nice park, trails are poorly marked so it is easy to get turned around.

Great hiking location. There are several trails that you can choose from and most intersect with each other. You can walk as little as one mile or over five miles if you choose. There are several wetlands and good outlooks. It’s worth a trip!

Decided to go here for a walk! Absolutely loved it, but definitely should have worn hiking shoes instead of sneakers. It's along a marsh, so a fair amount of the trails are a little boggy, and fairly wet. In the summer I can imagine the bugs may be out in force.

Many intercecting trails that run high up on the ridge and low near the waters edge under a tall tree canopy. We hiked in March and it was muddy in places but manageable. Many dogs and children were on these trails. We saw signs of beaver and few woodpeckers. Warning, the trail colors on the entrance map do not always match the trail colored markers. Several couples were frustrated by this unfortunate situation. Plenty of parking but it was full today.

On Google Maps it sometimes shows up as a Motorcycle Shop. I have been hiking down there since 2007 and in my experience it appears to have been a group home of some sort maybe for challenged individuals. There were often one or two multi-passenger buses with ramps parked in the lot although I don't believe it has been in use for a good year or so. Also judging from some cars that were parked there overnight it appeared that there were people working there. I never looked into it but I would definitely be interested to know. It's empty right now.
