Yes, expect to be there almost all day, sitting in a full waiting room. Medicaid doesnt cover anything, but they do have financial aid/sliding scale. They saw my dog free 2x now because I'm on public assistance. Be prepared to bring income proof/benefit letter. Honestly this clinic is great for emergencies (bites/cuts/breaks), but NOT the place if your pet has ANY chronic illness's do NOT expect ANY help or tests for those problems. I am quite disappointed in the policies of the ASPCA Clinic. Its like they want you to adopt, adopt, and spay/nueter but if the animal gets sick you're on your own.
Go as early as possible, there will be a lot of ppl but it's worth the wait. ASPCA will give your pet the medical services needed and if you low income they will charge you close to nothing. Good Luck
