I have kids and the youngest is 2. Will a 2 year old enjoy the trip and make it through? If I had to, are the steps safe enough I can carry her safely?

Yes she may not fully appreciate everything..but it should not prevent others from partaking. You never have to get on hands and knees to go through..you might have to duck a few places. The general tour is...safety rules..walk down steps, talk about Indians(just to Pace the tours), enter first major room(a few steps) gather everyone and remind about rules again,. Enter main room and information time, next room is where they turn off lights so be towards the back if this is not for you, backtrack next room will be down short tunnel be towards the front for full experience (watch your heads) good photo spot. backtrack and walk up steps look right and next good photo spot. Walk down. To last room. Exit....there are other activities as well while you are there if you would like. ..farm animals, panning for gems and at the front off the main road is mini golf

We had a 10 month old who had to be carried the entire time. Not the same as carrying a 2 yr old, I know. Hard to know if your 2 yr old would enjoy, but I think so. Our 4 yr old enjoyed it. You're moving a lot of the time and the scenery is unique.

The steps can be a bit tricky at times but they're manageable, if you were to bring your 2 year old i would reccomend they wear protective padding because some of the caverns can get pretty narrow length and width wise! They have red lights to signal when you're about to approach one of these areas, so as long as you pay close attention to them they should be fine! Nothing is life-threatingly dangerous although the trip is 45 minutes total with a staircase down- if you think you can carry them all that way then it shouldn't be a problem :).

I do not recommend it for the baby, if you have to carry it you must walk very carefully and protect it, there are narrow spaces, it slips, it is dark. You could leave it in the outskirts with an adult since outside it's farm type
