How soon can we get lasek after the free consultation? Is it better to schedule consultation closer to when we want to get the surgery in case of changes in eye sight?

Hi Cindy, I'm the new Practice Manager. It's possible to get LASEK as soon as the day after your initial consult, but you would need to call the office to prepare for that. It is preferrable to schedule your surgery within a couple months of your consult, as additional testing may be needed if you delay longer than that. But best to review those questions and timing with the Doctor during the consult to provide you with the best and safest plan for your eyes based on your current prescription and eye health. At the consultation you get clearance whether you are eligible for Lasek. Once cleared you can get procedure as soon as Dr. Chyn's schedule allows. The office follows up with you to get your schedule.
