How far apart is The Met Cloisters and The Met Fifth Avenue. I am interested in coming into NY for Heavenly Bodies exhibit.The write up indicates that Costume Institute's spring 2018 exhibition is located at 2 different places. Did I misunderstand?

The Cloisters are on 195th St on the West side. The Met is on 86th on the East side.

I recommend to go to the metropolitan in the morning. It opens 10 am. Take your time, then take the train to go to the cloisters in the afternoon like 3pm. It is a beautiful view from there to see the sunset and the Hudson river.

The A from 59th Street to 190th is just 25 to 30 minutes and the A pleasant stroll through Fort Tryon Park.
