Went during the summer and everything was super peaceful and aesthetic

Amazing museum of Isamo Noguchi's work. This is his old studio. Difficult to get there, far from the subway (we used Uber to and from the station), but well worth it! Amazing sculptures in a great setting, with a garden display as well as an large indoors display.

Yes, though there may be a brief wait time for guests without a reservation on popular days such as weekends. We still recommend making advance reservations at tickets.noguchi.org if possible. Members may visit for free anytime.
Akari light sculptures are made from washi (mulberry bark) paper. For minor repairs of the shade we suggest using a translucent, archival tape such as Filmoplast P or Lineco Mending Tissue. We offer replacement shades for BB1, BB2, BB3, and UF4 Akari models: https://shop.noguchi.org/pages/faqs
There are bike racks in front of the Socrates Park entrance which is catty-corner to the museum.
Please reach out to education [at] noguchi.org, and we will direct your inquiry!
There are lots of great restaurants along Broadway (close to the N/W Broadway station), as well as further south on Vernon Boulevard (close to the 7 Vernon-Jackson station). A few staff favorites: Arepas Grill at 21st St & Broadway, Tamashii Ramen and Shuya Cafe de Ramen on Broadway, Manducatis Rustica on Vernon Boulevard, and LIC Market (near Court Square-23rd St). We also have a small coffee shop and café with sandwiches and snacks in the Museum.
Adults 10 dollars free children and students and teenagers 5 dollars
