Yes you have to wear a mask at this museum get over it. It was a fab exhibition, would definitely recommend going. This is just a few of the pictures I took.

You can’t even get inside without a mask on September 2022, after literally all of NYC doesn’t require a mask anymore. Not even during my 12 hour flight I needed one. Yet the security guard’s job was literally to tell you you need mask. And guess what? They don’t even offer them. Rudest security guard I’ve ever encountered in my life. Avoid.

On Black Friday hours might differ. Usually on Fridays it is from 12 to 8 pm
hello ivan The FIT museum is free to the public. It is open from Tuesday to Friday from 12 p.m. at 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. at 5 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday.
You don't have to. Just show up at front desk and you are good to go.
Museum's hours have changed after covid. On Sunday's the Museum open 10am-5pm.
It's free and it's wonderful.and well worth it. Check the website for exhibition dates and times and also the excellent lectures.
