Memorial service was held there for a family member. What a lovely job the staff did in organizing everything. Food was delicious. Beautiful, historical, welcoming.

Its a small museum with a number of interesting artifacts and books. If you can, try to go on a guided tour. A number of the items have very interesting stories behind them.
20 regular admission, 13 for students/teachers/seniors
That's 'HIPAA'. That law says government and corporate institutions cannot disclose your medical information without your consent. It says nothing about somebody asking about your health info. Anyone can always ask; and while you can refuse, they have the right under federal and state laws to keep you out if you do.
I'm done.
This is somewhat incorrect. It is also a research facility. As long as you call to make an appointment to do so, you may use the vast library for research purposes. There is also a cafe, and during the daytimes, when it's not busy, you can avail yourself of a table, order a beverage and work on your laptop. They have wi-fi. Many scholars and researchers use the library everyday. It's probably better if you get a membership, which also entitles you to uncharged access and other benefits. https://www.themorgan.org/visit/hours-and-admission
Only on fridays from 7pm until 9pm
I didn't see them but it's possible they are there
We spent about over two hours. It's quite lovely. It depends on if you want to look at what titles are on the shelves as well as the paintings, fireplaces and information. If I could have touched the books, I would be living there. It's not a large building. It's all about you and how long you'd like to take.
No. Only English.
Their web site will have the most accurate information.
Yes it is free on Friday after 5pm
We had reservations on a Wednesday morning which was good since they were at capacity at that time and advised that if you did not already have tickets you could buy for a later time. We had a very full day planned so it helped for our schedule to have the reservations.
As of 3/29, masks were encouraged but not required. They did not ask for vax info.
Nope. Shelves are locked. Bring your own if you want to make some stylish photo
Fridays 2-5 they offer free admission also students, veterans, seniors, and people with disabilities can get discounted tickets.
I was able to get tickets walking up, but it's recommended to buy in advance. If you know ahead, buy ahead.
There is currently a small exhibit of stories written and illustrated by children, but this is not really a museum that focuses on kids.
Between 10 am and 5pm
Yes
I did not see at Morgan lib. Please call them. You must also call MET museum to check. Good luck.
Are you trying to look at the Warp Coil, or just looking for a general tour? My understanding is certain decks are off limits to non-Starfleet personnel.
Yes, that's correct.
It's free only on friday evening. I think at 7 pm
The Morgan library opens at 10.30 a.m. from Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday
There is metered street parking in the area, but I don't know how easy it is to find a spot. I typically park outside Manhattan and take a train.
Will probably get bored
I think you need to contact the museum directly.
The books on display are distinct from the research function of the library, which focuses on old and rare volumes. Don't know what Morgan family personal information is part of the library or accessible to researchers, but best idea probably is to call during business hours and try to reach someone on the research side of the institution.
Friday from 7pm
Not to be missed!
Yes you leave the Library and return once you have your ticket stub.
