I just booked a travel bundle through orbitz and added the 3 day park hopper. I want to take advantage of the fast pass deal where you reserve a month before. Will I still have the privilege of doing this if I booked via orbitz?

Did your park hopper ticket come with a confirmation number? If so try to link your ticket through the My Disney Experience App. If that doesn't work call Disney Ticketing for help.

Some travel agencies don't give you a confirmation number for your tickets and actually make you pick up via will call, I would cancel if I were you and buy via Disney. You'll get the on-site booking window, which is longer than it staying off site.
