The best of Orlando Florida

Very poor experience with Vacation Village during our stay. During Hurricane Ian most of the buildings lost power. Management’s only concern was that we brought in the patio furniture so it didn’t get damaged. Power was lost on night 2 and the staff didn’t care about us, never checked, called etc. We were left on our own to figure it out with no resources. Once we got food and the storm was gone, the staff continued to forbid the use of grills outside in the pool area. We attempted to address our concerns with the front desk. The attendant explained that their management has very poor communication and she felt the same way. We were basically ignored. All this place cares about is getting into your wallet. Zero hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay here at Vacation Village at Parkside. The rooms were very nice, well stocked and clean. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for us. We were 10 to 20 minutes to SeaWorld, Epcot and Universal. We were also convenient to both coasts af Florida. We were able to avoid tolls the entire time we were there as well! We really enjoyed the heated pools and hot tubs each evening. The hot tub was great after a long day on your feet! They have 7 pools to choose from and we tried 4 of them. They were all nice. They also have splash pads for the little ones and I believe all of the pools have a walk in side so it's not too deep initially either. The max depth we saw was 5 feet. They also have BBQ grills available with picnic tables. We grilled a nice steak one evening and still saved over eating out. Anything you need is close by - Publix, CVS, IHOP, Golden Corral, etc. Plenty of other restaurants and shops. There's an Outlet Mall at the end of the street too. They have walking trails and scheduled activities most days as well. If you're in Orlando I'd recommend staying here!

Yes it is . When I was there recently there were people with wheelchairs. The Resort is very good. You can book without fear.
It depends on which configuration as the unit i had you could have 2 in each bedroom and two on each pull out for a total of 8.
They have accepted ours months ahead.
Yes they do, and they provide all info and times required.
Yes they are. There is an extra cost for them plus only allowed in 6 of the buildings. I would call them first to say you are bringing a dog.
All of them on the back side, I don't know about the front. The back faces the pool and fireworks 😃💖 I'm on 14th floor and fireworks are amazing at Disney World and Universal Studios every night!
Yes, there are buses that take you to the Publix and sawgrass mills
The wifi is spotty and we have to sign back in every time we come back from being away.
I have had medication delivered.
I think not. But the kitchens are super equipped, you can prepare whatever
Our room had a king bed and pull out sofa bed probably by the size of the sofa it was a standard sizr
One hour to Cocoa Beach. One and a half-hour drive to Clearwater. Both are worth it! Bring your EZ Pass tag.
Only universal studios, Hollywood studios and Epcot.
Bnas afternoon I do not have the phone but I think that in the reservation that one makes there is a number where you can communicate
No but there is a lot within walking distance and a short distance it it.
You are required to wear a face covering while in the buildings, elevator and hallways
Paul they will buy them back thru their sales office but you're better selling it outright to a 3rd party. They're only going to give you much less than was paid for it.
Nope. I don't recommend them. Not a good vacation spot
Satelitte beach is 1 hour and 15 minutes away.
Never used them personally but the in-laws have. No complaints.
The unit comes with a king size bed and a sofa pullout for 2. I don't think you can add a bed but there is plenty room for one.
We used timeshare, try the "vacation village" website
When I was not.
There are many lakes in this part of Florida, it is recommended to visit the one located in Celebration Kissimmee. A place painter, very cozy
There is a Wendy's and a Subway just on the other side of parking lot. A few souvenir spots also in the little plaza. A 5-10 minute walk from building you check in at.
Good morning It's free and when you check in they give you a parking sign for the vehicle
They have free parking...lots of it.
No there isn't. However there are 7 heated pools in the resort.
Yeah, you can checked in anytime after 3pm. I checked in at 1130pm.
No But they may have a professional building with computers in it Ask the front desk see if they can help
I believe they all are. At least that was the case in the building where we stayed.
It does not have transportation.
And
We always perfere a Carr ,got the convenience of going to places around ,VF is a nice little outlet outside so nice to shop and have a coffee also town of of Celebration good for visiting all near Vacation Village also Ross is a good place to shop lots of of stores again outside John young Parkway .So nice to have a car .Also makes it easy to eat out ponderosa is near and a good breakfast buffet also for evening and Golden Coral buffet all day .Nice steak and fish places within easy drive Then the Florida mall is indoors .So easy with a car .Think you would find a shuttle more messing as only 30 min drive from Orlando international .
Good afternoon ! I tried to perform the same process as you and unfortunately in the hotel do not receive packages of any kind (Amazon, etc). They are returned when this happens. I hope I have been helpful. Regards!!
Yes
Yes they do, but you should always be aware of the last minute changes as they can change for you if you have a reservation for several months.
The guest services will handle all transportation needed. They have very good pick up schedules
Just uber the route. That gives you an estimate. I do car rental. Also you can call hotel and compare price they can suggest who to hire for transportation
Theres one that goes to publix in a set schedule. Also, ask at the front desk about any others. If they do, I only believe they go to Disney and universal
When you call for the shuttle pickup you need to ask for a car seat. And then they will let you know if they provide one
It is how some buildings of the resort work. It is a 2 bedroom unit. One is bigger, like an apartment, and the lockout is smaller, but both have separate bathrooms, and a separate door -which can be locked -to the entrance hall, leading to the door to the outside. The lockout has no dishwasher and no gas stove, just a two places electric stove, but all the rest of furniture - microwave, laundry machine, sofa, etc. It's very comfy actually.
Thanks for the answers all
Full-size kitchen for you to cook. Or quite a few restaurants that deliver in the area
I didn't have to take an uber.
If you have transportation to and from
Unit 20 and 21 are the newest ones of all and it's next to the activity center. They are all Beautiful but those are the newest.
I'm sorry, I do not have it
Pretty decent, it has a nice refrigerator, place settings for 4 people. It also has a 2 place hot plate burner for cooking, as well as a skillet for cooking.
They do have service. The exit is next to building 3. The cost is even in the resort fee.
Or request money back
Vending only, but there is a Publix across the street to stock your kitchen
No. You have a full kitchen to cook, but must bring your food or buy it. The closest grocery store is just across the highway.
Does not speak spanish
I dunno? Dont do drugs and you don't have to worry about it!
We were there last week. They just added a game room to 2 different buildings. Small arcade with air hockey, skee ball, etc.
Just call with enough time to get the attention that you deserve!
That they have defined schedules to go and come from certain parks and the supermarket. But they only have one round trip frequency
If last week I was. They have transportation to Disney parks and Universal parks
It was in letter they sent you
They have a free shuttle to epcot. It takes about 10 min. Disney is 1 mile away. It runs everyday about 5 times there and 5 times back. If you drive yourself you'll be at magic kingdom in about 5-10 min
Yes and no additional charge.
One week they are around Almost a thousand clear are fully equipped .. I can offer you my resort for half of that if it suits you for the next week.
I think every hour.
You can buy park tickets.
They have coffee machines in rooms. Can't remember if they have coffee for the machine. We bought our own coffee. Their is no restaurant there, but many are nearby.
Walgreens across the street opposite of Publix. Closest Walmart is several miles away. Vacation Village offers free transportation multiple times throughout the day to Publix though.
