It is a hotel with a kitchen and rooms. But they don't have maid service unless you pay. The hotel staff will not bother you for better or for worse. Basically you arrive, you check in and that's it. You don't see them again. The service in the kitchen is only for four people. It's fine if you use it to sleep and for breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful room, a lot of space with all the amenities you will want for a longstay including washer and dryer. Super clean, attentive staff. Step away from Old Town and restaurants.

This place has great, amenities.. Location is great. A lovely lake to walk around at the back of the pool complex. Would recommend staying here to anyone.. Great Value and the rooms are very comfortable large wall mounted TV sets..kitchens,washing machines and dryers ect.. Very pleased with our stay.

Room was very spacious and very clean. Enjoyed the nice size pool. They have a pool for the kids & one for adults. Great Entertainment, food, & shopping literally across the street. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Universal is about a 20 minute drive from this resort.

If you are clever, you can do it. I did it, however was a small dog and we kept her hidden well. I would wrap her in blanket and jump in car and drive off property down the street. Let her out for a quick walk and back to resort hidden in blanket. Shady but efficient. 🐕💜🐕💜
I wasn't aware of a shuttle. We went to all the parks by car. There is public transport near by though. I think if you check with the resort they will happily answer all you questions..
They have free shuttle to Magic kingdom and other parks have a fee (don't remember exactly how much).
