Beware-Do not book these cottages! I had booked a 4 bedroom cottage in March of 2022 for a stay end of October. I paid the deposit at time of booking. I called today for a stay in a 7 days to request an early check in. The extremely rude and unprofessional “supervisor” let me know my reservation had been cancelled because I didn’t pay the remaining balance 30 days prior. No one emailed me, called or even attempted to charge my credit card they had on file for the remaining balance. When I instructed her my confirmation email states remaining balance is charged to the card on file at check in, she told me I was wrong(despite my email explicitly stating that). I asked if I could pay the remaining balance now and she told me I had 2 minutes to pay otherwise I would have to rebook completely for an additional 1k over what was already quoted at time of reservation. This place is a scam, do not spend your time or money booking. In addition she refused to refund my deposit even though this was 100% their scam and fault.

The property is beautiful although still a lot of construction going on but this didn’t disturb our visit. Pool was great. Pool Staff friendly. However, Euphoria restaurant was awful. One waiter rushing around tending all the tables. His overall attitude was unwelcoming and seemed like he just wanted you to rush and get your order in so he can bounce to the next table. We ordered some fish platters and every one of our guests food was over cooked and burnt. Just awful. Considering the waiters demeanor we opted to eat what was edible from our dishes and noted never to go back there again. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage. Decent size for larger families needing their own space. However, the cottage smelled of wet dog , pet hair all over the sofa. And just overall the cottage is IN NEED of a DEEP CLEANING!!!! We also found someone’s undergarments in one of the dressers and in another bedroom clothing tags in one of the drawers as well. One of our bed sheets had a very large yellow stain. Which caused me to start questioning if the bedsheets were ever cleaned prior to our visit. So I went to Publix across the street and purchased laundry detergent and washed everything including re -washing the kitchenware I planned on using. Not to mention my kids like walking around barefoot and their feet were black on the bottom indicating the floor was indeed dirty. Further indicating housekeeping didn’t do a thorough job of cleaning. I have stayed in pet friendly resorts before and have never had any issues with overall cleanliness in the room. If you are someone who has even mild allergies to animals you will experience a flare up in the cottages due to lack of proper cleanliness. I don’t typically suffer from allergies and my nose became congested the majority of the time I was there. When you initially walk in to the cottage everything “looks” as if it were pristine but upon sitting on the sofa it stinks, and as you go through your stay you start to notice the cookware in the kitchen is not clean and start realizing these cottages are not being cleaned properly. Overall, restaurants need more waiters and housekeeping needs a lot of improvement in their cleaning skills. It is very clear they are trying to get away with half-a**ing their jobs. And for $390 plus a night this is not acceptable. Gave previous cottage reviews the benefit of the doubt and booked here anyway as I was already past the 15 day cancellation policy. I will probably not stay here again.
