Great place to stay near Disney. This resort really surprised me and really is a hidden gem. The rooms are super spacious although their basic 1 bedroom has no patio. Decor is nothing special but everything is well maintained and it’s super easy to be comfortable here. The pool areas are nice with great jacuzzis. We found the staff and guests here all to be really friendly. Overall about on-par with the Diamond resorts & Sheraton Vistas. Glad we gave this a chance and it’ll be on the “stay-again” list. Only downside is there are no restaurants or bars on site but lots is walking distance and Disney is a 8-12 min drive.

Calls to the front desk during the day, as well as when we checked in, which was in the evening, went just fine; very professional and friendly; however, I called one night because the phone was flashing that we had a VM yet would ring busy if we tried to check it. I called guest services to try and find out what was wrong. The young woman I spoke to was very flippant. She said she didn't know why it wasn't working and that she could send someone up if she "had" to but that it was probably just a message from them. When I asked about another way I might be able to check it, just to verify it wasn't important, she said she didn't know and then just sat on the phone, not saying anything. When I spoke to someone the next day and mentioned the issue with the VM, they gave me another number to call to check it, which worked fine.

My absolute favorite Wyndham destination. We love it so much we going back again the end of the month. Staff was amazing rooms were cleans and spotless. I can't wait to bring more of my family to this destination next year

Yes. For a hotel or Resort that's consider three star let me tell you something can pass as a 5-star
Absolutely
No
They have a sandy spot on the lake with chairs but you can swim in the water
That happens at every hotel when check out time passes all you have to do is go to the front desk and either ask for a later check at a time with a new key made for that or if it's already happened tell them you're not quite finished checking out and they'll make you a new key not a big issue
No shuttles at this time...but..you can catch a bus out on 192...just a short walk from resort..about 250 yards to bus stop
I stayed 9/20 - 9/27, was told yes but I used Uber
Call Cypress Palms and they will let you know
The studios don't have a balcony. I don't know if they have the jacuzzi. I know the one bedroom and two bedrooms have a balcony and jacuzzi. Hope this helps.
Not sure but nice place for couples that want a relaxing weekend I would go back
Yes..but check with the front desk on times. Some of the evening fireworks shows are scheduled at park closing...so you may be in the parks after close and not all shuttles run after hours
Yes, there is a shuttle to Disney, Sea World and Universal but it is NOT included in your stay. You must reserve your spots ahead of time and there is a fee for it. Per their website** HELPFUL HINTS Daily round-trip shuttle service from the Activity Center to Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, Orlando and Universal is available for a fee.
Our stay was very nice. The dishwasher overflowed. Maintenance was prompt to repair. Would stay again.
Pets are not allowed. If you do bring your pet, they have a bording center on site for you.
There is a fairground just minutes away (walking) for the kids (and adults), as well as many good restaurants (some family friendly with shows and others mainly for adults). There is also a water park that's about a 10-15min drive from the resort, as well as 2 outlet malls and an actual mall. (It all depends on your interest.) I hope this was helpful! Enjoy your visit and stay hydrated. 🤓
Yes, they have a variety of onsite activities (adult and children friendly), but they change weekly, so checking the weekly bulletin when you first arrive will allow you to map out your days accordingly.
No spa on that Wyndham property, but there is at their sister resort Star Island which is a few miles away from Cypress Palms. Also the Disney property has a spa at the Grand Floridisn. Might want to check out all Disney properties for spas. Disney is very close to this resort. 💚
Elevators are in each building but sometimes hard to find. Usually in the middle.
I do not remember one, but right out the back entrance are many restaurants within walking distance. Including Uno's Pizza, cracker Barrell, chilis etc
Well this place is definitely not a chalet. A 4-star Resort yes. Chances are if you're going there you're going there to see the attractions and if you were ending like us even though we were there during the hurricane you're not going to be in your room very much the room is basically a very nice room to prepare your meals sleep and take a shower I had a nice 2 bedroom and had an amazing jacuzzi tub in it which I loved. The staff is wonderful and honestly if anybody has any concerns about this place then their just a snobs.
