There is a fairground just minutes away (walking) for the kids (and adults), as well as many good restaurants (some family friendly with shows and others mainly for adults). There is also a water park that's about a 10-15min drive from the resort, as well as 2 outlet malls and an actual mall. (It all depends on your interest.) I hope this was helpful! You can sleep all you need to. The pool is fun! The kitchen has most of what you need to cook with. No potholders though.
There's all kinds of shopping and restaurants right down the road from there is Old Town which has a small carnival all kinds of little shops with really cool unique things a place for the kids to play there's a lot to do within a short amount of time. Also the theme parks are less than 12 miles
Plenty of restaurants nearby, the closest one is Crackel Barrel, about 1 minute away.
OldTown, mini golf is right there.
There's not much to do nearby, but Disney parks are close enough. The neighborhood is not the best.
