First you need to go on the Swiss embassy website and make an online appointment. It depends on which state you live in. If you live in NY there is an embassy there. Before you go to the appointment, you need to Buy your flight ticket and a minimum of $50000 of travel insurance. The insurance does not cost much.then take two passport pictures. Have your bank statement ready because you need to prove that you have enough fund to care for yourself while there. You also need a letter from your employer, proving that you have a job here in the US.And if you are staying with family, they need to send a letter of invitation to the Swiss embassy for you. When you attend your appointment, you will need all of those documents ready with your valid passport, a certified paid envelop with your address on it from UPS or FedEx so, they can mail your passport with your Visa back to you and they will also take your fingerprint. I hope this helps.

Hello, I am an American resident with green card. Is it possible for me to have a Swiss visa? If so, what are the conditions?
