Fishing is okay. The fish in water are not edible due to runoff from the 76 Highway. Several die-offs over the last couple of Summers have reduced fish population in both ponds at Guajome. Catfish bluegill and small Bass. Carp used to populate the lake but unknown if any survived last die off. There is no fee for fishing the lake as long as you have valid fishing license.

Great question (I "liked" you question because other people must be having this question too). I did not observe anyone fishing here and we walked the site from top to bottom close to sundown, one of the 2 times fishers would be at prime. Hope this helps you :-)

I don't have first-hand experience fishing at this location, but I rarely see anyone fishing there, for what that is worth.
