The part I love most about the desert is the amazing and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets every day. The photos really do not do it justice; this was THE MOST BEAUTIFUL sunrise that I have EVER SEEN!

Beautiful park with a view of the ocean. All sorts of groups on the weekends. AWESOME parks for kids. 4 stars because there are always homeless people. Its not their fault but you still should be aware for sake of kids safety.

There is also a snack bar. The beach used to be dog friendly. Not any more. I could not take my dog onto the beach. It sucks.
Beaches are open to public but parking across the street closes i believe at 6 or 7 pm
Dogs can be in the park area, but they're not supposed to be on the beach that's across the street

Yes! It's outdoors and its just inside a dog park and right across from the ocean! It's fabulous!
Sure, until the cops or lifeguards show up. No dogs on the beach here. But there is a great park across the street from the beach for your pooch
Fish in the ocean would be what you'd catch if anything with surfing and such going on... good luck!!
There are always dogs running around without leashes, at the park. I've never seen anyone get hassled about any leash law. If your dog is well-behaved, shouldn't be any problem. :-)
There's a few outlets at the bathroom, but tables are first come first serve.
