Swimming is great here. Plenty of lanes and the staff is nice. There is a shower here and bathrooms. Fun for all ages. The splash pad is currently not in use till further notice. The diving boards are open on weekend. Saturday 28 May 2022 the pool is closed for all day staff training.

Great new pool. Still very clean. When you check in you have swip your card and sign in, in wich pool you are going to swim. Not sure what's the point. The air around the pool does not smell good. They did not put in a hot tub, which is sad .

We just attended a wedding reception here and it was such a nice yet intimate setting. The landscaping and fireplace add a really nice touch. The restrooms are modern and very clean. I would definitely recommend it for events. It appears to have a great selection of activities and amenities for seniors. It is not as large as the Carlsbad senior center but some might prefer the smaller setting.

I don't think so but there is one down the street on the west side of the 76

Are there any hiking trails or scenic trails anywhere around there?

Not really near this area. You can go up the hill adjacent to the construction area [off Rancho Del Oro Dr.] and end up by the city services/El Corazon compost facility on the Oceanside Drive side. There is a trail off of Mesa by the street before you get to S El Camino Real but it is not a long trail.

Is this where fireworks will be held? 2021

Yes July 3rd, they’ll close off El Camino & have an event plus fireworks here. The local news outlet will start routinely reminding us the closer to the event. As to why July 3rd. Here; “The Declaration of Independence, adopted this day in 1776 by the Second Continental Congress, called for the American colonies to secede from Great Britain, a proclamation now commemorated by a U.S. national holiday”
