This is a beautiful park with a covered picnic area for large families or groups, with built-in barbeques. The park also has scattered picnic tables and benches throughout. It has a well kept playground for the kids with cool looking jungle gyms and brightly painted colors. It has a nice path around the lake for strolling or power walking and the highlight are the ducks and other waterfowl, the squirrels and hawks screeching. Very pleasantly surprised for being the first time here.

I love the park itself... But the area isn't that great. Plus things are starting to become unsafe for my toddlers... I went to take them into the public bathroom and there was a homeless person in there sleeping on the toilet. Then there was new graffiti all over the sidewalk and stairs leading down to the park. The trash cans seem always full when we go and we go very early in the morning. It's 10:15 am and we just got back home. It's just a shame.

Who? Me?

This park is a little oasis. A paved path around a small pond with ducks, birds and turtles! There's a playground and covered picnic area, and free street parking. BUT the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired (see pics)- no door on the bathroom stall and the outside door is a steel grate that was chained open. Absolutely no privacy or safety.
