Non-students can not borrow books from library. Unless they have some special status. Child/spouse of faculty, alum, etc, etc. However for $125/year you can become a friend of the library with borrowing privileges. Ask at library if you fall into any of the other patron types, otherwise cough up the money, or use materials in the library. The different ways one can qualify for borrowing status are clearly laid out in the library website.
