There has been a fire ban in place since July 14th
I was there two weeks ago and fire pits were taped off. I believe theres a fire ban for the upcoming months. Check state regulations
You are urged to not bring any wood from a different forest due to possible insect species being introduced to the area. There are fire pits and grills at the sites, so fires are allowed unless otherwise posted, such as during extreme fire danger periods.
