Whale watching was more than I expected! The whales were magnificent! The crew was fun, and helped to make the experience feel safe and appreciated! Thank you- we’ll be back! We took Dramamine and was able to enjoy the entire show!

Truly the best whale watching tour we have ever been on. The staff were courteous, patient, and humorous. We had close encounters with so many humpback whales. They came up and interacted with our boat (quite rare). I highly recommend this company.

Our Captain and Crew were extremely attentive and courteous on this amazing must do experience. Our adventure surpassed our expectations. The Captain and naturalist went above and beyond to assure our family was comfortable and had a good time. Our boys had so much fun navigating and steering our vessel! The dolphins were so close we could almost touch them. We saw an extraordinary wave of sea lions feeding and, of course, the WHALES! It was a truly magical experience for us all.

Rented kayaks from here, it was a great experience! Wonderful staff, and they open later than other rental companies.

Anytime they have extra seats on the boat available! Usually morning before winds pick up and while fog burns off mid day. Sunset is also pretty magical time.
They were open to having our 25lb dog join, but I think it depends on how many other people are expected on your tour. I'd recommend calling to ask, the staff is super friendly.
Thank you for reaching out. Right now the gray whales are in their southernly migration so there are good opportunities to see southbound gray whales. The gray whale season runs from December-May and late May is typically the beginning of the humpback whale season. Please feel free to call our office (805)772-9463 and we would be happy to answer any questions. The Sub Sea Tour does a good job showing the wildlife in the harbor of Morro Bay. We see sea lions and sea otters above water and we also feed fish to bring them swimming up to the underwater windows. There is not an underwater diver taking pictures nor is there any additional cost beyond the ticket price. You can find more information for all the activities that we offer at morrobaywhalewatching.com
We paid $40 each adult. Check their website to be sure.

Go to their website and decide which tour you see interested in. The prices vary. https://www.subseatours.com/sub-sea-tours-adventure/
Not sure about kayak age requirements. Check their website.
You probably want to take the 3 hour tour . It takes about an hour and a half to get to the whales then another to get back .
