If a person is living in your home, without a lease or any contract, can I ask the person to leave immediately without any consequences to me?

you can tell them that you want them to leave your residence and give them 30 days to vacate. It's a reasonable amount of time. However, you might want to seek an order from the court because if they don't leave you will then need to get the order to get them out. Unless they are committing or threatening violence. Then you can get a Temporary Protective order and have them removed immediately. ( for 20 days ) then the court will hear your case and decide whether to make the order permanent or extend or dismiss. Note: They can also have you removed from your home if they claim violence or threat of violence.

I would call them to get the correct answer.
