We walked in without appointment, purchased our tickets for the next time slot. It was $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for children. No coats or bags allowed inside.
Also, they don't allow coats or bags into the actual biosphere. They have a place to put them, but if that makes you nervous, plan to leave them in the car.
It's best to book in advance. And it's not cheap. To get my granddaughter and myself in was $35
