if im using a credit card for a rental with enterprise do they still hold a deposit my friend told me she always use a credit card and they never hold a deposit only the amount of the car.

I have rented from Enterprise for several years and yes they always held a deposit. But it's deleted once the car is returned.

Oh boy when I rent from avis the only amount they held was the cost of the rental that was it

I just rented through there. They took the total estimated rental charge, plus 20% on my credit card. I had the car for a week, it sat pending for a few days and then fell off.
