If you are using a credit card and not debit it will be deducted from if there is any issue, if you have insurance for your personal then it transfers to the vehicle you are driving, check with your insurance company. Car rentals make their commissions off of selling extra insurance....but then again it can save you big $$$$ if you get hit by someone else, enjoy Florida and bring sun screen

I'm from buffalo,NY and I didn't purchase the insurance. The girl didn't offer any she said my personal insurance would cover. This was at the Orlando location. I also rented from Miami a few days later and they offered insurance but I declined. I also used my capital one card which insured rentals
