Reservation is preferred as they allow a certain no. of people. I went with a group of people two weeks ago and we called upfront to reserve. I also went by myself last week to see Imax movie without reservation n they allowed me. For Imax, they are allowing only 60 people which has a max capacity of 270 people and they do thorough cleaning for other frequent touch areas and lots of hand sanitizer pumps. You should be fine and take proper precautions while there.
