The nurses got mad because a group of guys left. I happened to be tlking to these men so the magically found a straw with residue. Mind u I never saw this straw. They kicked me out and there was no evil short lady who is the reason 4 people left. Get rid of her and treat us like people ....maybe things would go smoother. I waited months to get in. But I will let everyone know NOT TO GO THERE. They don't care just want the pay check.

Palmer is the worst doctor! I confused my appointment and missed it. He gave me a 28 day supply of meds on June 17th. I cant see him till the 19th now which means I'm out of meds so I asked him to fill just enough until then and he refused saying I should have plenty left! Hello 28 day supply from the 17th is umm today! So he wants me to be sick until Tuesday that's 5 days away! Why tf would u think your patient has plenty of meds left when it's been 28 days. I feel accused of abusing meds because he obviously can't do math. What a joke.

Most of the staff are helping and respectful except 1 lady I believe her name is ms.c or cc. Very disrespectful and rude does not care about anything but getting a paycheck. I was in there for 3 days in detox in my own and she kept being rude saying she's there for a check and if I don't like it I can leave and kept calling me boo and cussing at me then when I said something back to her I was the bad guy. If you don't like your job then get a different one .

Yes they do they use subutex for heroin/fentanyl/opiates for alcohol they use sum type of benzo n for benzos they use a tapered benzo for those who dont understand tapered is jt the way they dose u exp u start on 6 a day then 5 a day then 4 a day etc till ur off of them everyone gts comfort meds etc for sleep trazadone sum for nausea if nded etc gd luck everyone in ur road to recovery
Couples and close relatives cannot be in medical Detox at the same time. Help and support will be provided to the person waiting to go in though.
The Medical Detox is 5-days long, but everyone is encouraged to attend outpatient following detox.
To add on to Christy's great answer, recent changes mean you can no longer bring snacks outside snacks in. A wide variety of snacks are provided throughout the day though and the vending machines are still available. Cigarettes must be unopened packs/carton. Vapes are allowed if they're the "Pod" type, but cannot be used in the building. You can bring about 5 days worth of comfortable shirts, underwear, and socks. A couple pairs of sweatpants/shorts and a jacket/hoodie, plus pair of shoes and shower shoes. Vending machine money should be in $1's or quarters. Anything you cannot have with you back there can be locked up though, and people can drop off smokes, money, clothes if needed during your stay. Hygiene stuff, but they will provide anything someone doesn't have. You really only need to bring yourself and a desire to stop using and everything else can be taken care of.
