You can kayak down cane bayou. The park I believe is open but I'm not 100% because people camp there and I doubt they're going to ask them to leave. It may be closed to incoming people. When I camped there last they lock the gate at night when the park police leave, but they do it in a way that guests can get out. So I would imagine it would be something like that. All boats can use the launch. No surface drives or mud motors allowed in the reserve or refuge. So they just can't go off of cane bayou into any channels. Launch to lake and back only.

The boardwalk area was closed when we went 11-25-20. The boat launch for boats with trolling motors was the only spot open.
