If your dog is microchipped, you can give them a call at the # listed on Google Business and confirm whether or not your dog is there. If not, youll need to drop by and see if any of the dogs there are yours.

Hopefully you have found your dog but if not... Check our website daily at animals.cmpd.org in the lost/found section. It updates every hour. If your dog is microchipped, AND the information is up to date in our local database and/or national registry, we can bring them home to you. Continue to check the website anyway https://charlottenc.gov/AnimalsCMPD/lostandfound/Pages/default.aspx If you think you see your pet listed, do not call, write, or email. Just come to the shelter to ID in person.

The best way is to go by after 11am and go to the kennels. Then check their website as it updates hourly. Calling is not the best idea as it goes to a call center that is not in the building. Good luck.
