I lost my Adult cat do you think someone could have brought him or called animal control to pick him up. Do people normally bring in cats or call animal control if he is possibly injured? Lost on Feb 3 2019.

Yes. They may also take it to the closest vet or vet hospital. Rescue workers also recommend posting on Nextdoor, Facebook, Craigslist- really any social media that you can find and contacting all local vets (within you neighborhood area) to give a heads up in case someone brings a (possibly injured, or found) animal in. I hope you find your fur baby soon.

Yes to all of the above. Cats are brought to shelters daily. Please go to the shelter ASAP to look for your lost cat.

Hopefully your kitty has come home. If not, check our lost and found pages every day. They update hourly. https://charlottenc.gov/AnimalsCMPD/lostandfound/Pages/default.aspx

Yes a person could have taken the cat to animal control. And if taken to a vet.... the vet could have called animal control. Don't call as it goes to a call center not located at animal control. You need to go down. State law requires they to only hold the animals 72 hours before they can be adopted out or transferred to rescue
