how do I apply for a birth certificate?

I applied for a copy of my Birth cert 4 weeks ago by mail, how long do you reckon it takes before i should follow up?

They will give you the application ($12). Its very quick and simple.

You can walk right in and fill out the paperwork, i was in and out in under 15 minutes but it's probably best to bring cash ($12) because sometimes the card machine is down and they don't have an ATM
