We were passing through Columbia and came upon this humbly beautiful church because it was near the State House. The building was closed because the last service had just ended, but the young man is purple vestments (please pardon our ignorance—we are not churchgoers) noted our curiosity and let us inside to look around. Having seen countless cathedrals in Europe, we were presently surprised by the interior beauty of the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. Well worth a visit for anyone who happens to be in Columbia.

After moving to Columbia from the Upstate, I was looking for a church to join. I visited several, but I was blown away by Trinity. After visiting regularly, I recently became a member and I am so happy that I did! Great people and really beautiful services. Dean Boston is great! His messages always resonate with me.

We didn't go inside. This church with cemetery is a peaceful spot, very nice architecture as well.

This HISTORIC Holy Edifice. Serves as the center of Religious worship in the city of Columbia SC. In speaking with one of it's Ministers, I felt a sense of urgency for others to seek peace. As a Minister, I totally agree.
