Pro: store is very well laid out, clean, and doesn't look like a thrift store and the staff are very friendly. Con: per the usual, barely any plus size items and what is sorted into the 2x and above sections is a lot of clothing that's not actually a 2, 3, 4x, etc. but more like a large or extra large therefore diminishing the available options even further. They obviously don't want plus size items to resell either because I brought in a ton of brand name clothes from Old Navy, Torrid, and JC Penny, some with the tags still on them, and every single piece was rejected. Feels like more of the usual body shaming and not wanting plus size customers that I see in almost every single other store I go into.

Although they didn't have what I wanted, I did find a great shirt for my husband. They had a large variety of clothing and accessories. The store was clean. The clerks were very friendly and attentive. The store was fairly busy, yet everyone was waited on & helped in a timely manner.

Yes they take dresses and heels during hoco season.
They so pay cash. They take stuff like quality, brand, and need of the item into account when deciding how much it's worth. They pay more for brands like Hollister, Abercrombie, etc. But it has to be only like a season or two old. They won't take clothes that aren't somewhat currently in trend
Yes they do. They buy all sort of different style shoes, brands and sizes

Solid lula roe pieces sell best. Some of the printed pieces don’t sell as well. Plato’s Closet’s main demographic that they cater to are teenagers.
