Is it a good hiking trail for beginners?
There is a fee, only if you park at the garage, near the Zoo, I am not sure the price of the entrance to the Zoo, currently. If you do not mind the walk, there is plenty of free parking, near the restaurant, and playground entrance, on the Pleasant Valley Way entrance. A very short distance walk to the zoo. Enjoy, the scenery, breathtaking trails.
Zoo cost and transport maybe?? 😁 but trails, fields and dog park is all free.
Hiking trails and dog park are free. The best parking is near the dog park.
South Mountain Reservation is free. If you're going to park near the zoo, then you have to pay a couple of bucks for the garage.
The park is free for all visitors.
