It is just basic information, like address and phone number. It isn't anything real personal. I completely understand why they do it. Many of these animals have already been abandoned, lost, or not well taken care of. So, they need to know that someone coming in has a stable home address and also what they are looking for so they can help match you with the right pet, for your needs, lifestyle, ect. Actually, we were surprised that they do not ask for more information to be sure that someone can absolutely provide the care for the animals being adopted.
I agree with ashley Printz. They also provide what is called ca cool off process. Some people tend to fall in love with a pet and seem ready to commit to a new family member and then for what ever life brings people find out they shouldn't have committed to a new family member. So find your new pet/family member go threw the due process make sure your ready to commit. Life be grand after all that. Rudy Mayorga.😀
