These people don't care. The staff emotionally and verbally abuse patients without recourse. They are cold, callused and uncaring. I have a port a Cath and due to their unseptic management of it, I ended up getting bacteriamia. I've had the port for over 4 years with no problem, but 3 days with this group of yahoos, I got bacteriamia. They leave you in pain for HOURS and could care less about your tears. They even joke amongst each other that if they pass out, not to leave them here but rather pack them up and take them to a REAL hospital. I guess that was my mistake, not going to a REAL hospital. If you say anything, they are quick to tell you "you can leave", but with what prognosis. In this room for 9 days so far, can't have visitors but don't know what is going on and the WORST of all is Attending Dr. HADDAD. Will be filing a case with the state about her abuse of power and violation of duty. I would not let this lady take care of my ant hill, let alone a human being.

For things like your room is too cold or too hot or unclean contact your State Department or Health Services. Other complaints, such as more serious against a doctor or care, follow this link to make those cases. https://www.medicare.gov/claims-appeals/file-a-complaint/filing-complaints-about-a-doctor-hospital-or-provider

My husband was taken there today after breaking his ankle. We have two small children and I didn’t want them in the ER exposed to the flu, etc so he called me to pick him up when he was discharged. They gave him two paper prescriptions to get filled. I drove all of the way back across town to our pharmacy to get it filled only to realize they had given him somebody else’s prescription for a narcotic. When we called to ask them to call it in after asking the pharmacist if it was possible to call it in, they told us they aren’t allowed to it it. Apparently they aren’t aware that they can now do it according to the pharmacist. I had to drive all of the way back to the hospital to pick up HIS prescription in the cold rain with my two babies in tow because they were negligent and didn’t check before giving it to him. I should file a complaint, etc because not only was it a major inconvenience on top of everything we dealt with today but they are majorly breaching patient confidentiality.

You have to file a Medical Malpractice request and ask an attorney to represent you by having another doctor proved that the staff did things that were unacceptable and you have to prove that you also suffered a physical injury. My wife was recently admitted to AMC downtown and she was just there to have a baby and they gave us several wronggg misdiagnosed and they came at her with every harsh medication and induction technique they could possibly use..they assured us to stay with lies and rarely stated any of the possible risk and side effects of their procedures. The nurses hated answering our questions, how do they expect ppl to take such harmful procedures without being made aware of the procedures? They were very slow an ineffective and my stayed a total of 10 days laboring only to end up having a terrible C section and Dope up on 3 Narcotics at once. This is the worst hospital experience we ever had they are lucky they arent being sued based upon how things went. Nvr go Here
