My point exactly, from what they tried making me BELIEVE on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS is that when ur in the Hallway, ur suppose to be A PATIENT STANDBY FOR A ROOM. Sum REALLY CRAZY IDIOLGY. BUT WHAT REALL KILLS,ME, THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO WANNA PUT A DAMN GOWN ON YOU WHILE YOU'RE IN THAT HALLWAY. 👎👎👎😩😩😩

They will treat you with out insurance

I don't have all of answers for everyone situation. I do know if you were not satisfied with your treatment. There is always someone in authority available 24/7. No one should leave dissatisfied. I work there for almost forty years. I am still employed part-time now. Yes, there is negligence everywhere you go but that is not the hospital's mission or code of ethics. Always have a name at your point of contact and put it writing.There is power in the pen!!!. Also, if you are there on a weekend, they are a major trauma center and they prioritize the treatment of patients.

i’m pretty sure its like a psych ward.. i know one of the floors at grady is notorious for holding psychiatric unstable patients, i cant remember which exactly, so if you’re asking it’s probably that one. i think its also the top floor?

No. Haven't ever done "free" pregnancy test. The patient may not pay for them , but somebody does..I.e...taxpayers

They all are...think the have pass a rude test to work here...docs and nurses in trama are great.. rest need all be replaced.

You may have to go through the Neurology Clinic/ Department. Talk with Clinical Manager/Nurse in charge. You or the patient may have to be referred. However, they should be able to walk you through the process.

I love Grady, they are my Primary Care. But, since I have insurance I always go to Piedmont ER. Grady is well known for their busy ER service. If you do not have a high temperature you will have a long wait time. People with High Temperature are seen quickly, to reduce a possible of spreading Germs Keep in mind, Grady is the Number one Trauma Hospital, and they assist and care for a lot of people! I love Grady.

Yes they do knee injections. I get both of my knees injection there at Grady Memorial Hospital

Grady Hospital is a great place they probably miss placed his medicine are gave it to the wrong person but make sure and talk to the head nurse on that shift they will handle it for you asap

There is a slew of documents you need to gather to take with you. Two bills with your address on it, State ID or DL. Statement from the Employment commission office showing income or lack there of (you have to physically go there and get it), sometimes a bank statement. You will fill out a stack of forms and have an interview. Charges will be based on income. The charges increased tremendously when Obamacare came into play (even if you don't have it things changed). Example, if you have NO income, prior to changes it was $3.00-$10 to see the doctor. Afterwards it was $25. and up wards. Prescriptions went from $3.oo to $10.00 and up.

Because it's an emergency room they go based off of baseline vitals and perceived stability. If you just want a "check up" go to an urgent care, minute clinic, or try to schedule a teledoc appointment. It's cheaper and your less likely to get any attitude from the provider.

Volume is my guess. Hang in there. They are ALL very busy. From the Senior Administrator to the Dr.s and Nurses and all the way to the wonderful woman who cleans up after everyone. Working their butts off. Hang in there. And Erica, I do understand your frustration. It is a very challenging time for us all. I will say a prayer for you and your family, that everyone is healthy and happy. Lofty goals these days, but we only really have each other. Love you people, hug them and be grateful you are not any sicker than you are. Be at peace if you can.

It will be based on the type of insurance you have. It a physical is part of your wellness plan, it may cost little or nothing. You will have to be financially cleared as well.

They do not have a dentist service like cleaning, etc, etc, which is that they do extractions of teeth and molars, but being referred by your grady doctor.

It varies. They see anyone who walks in. Many ppl don't need medical attention but are looking for a safe, ”comfortable" space to relax for a few hours. As with most hospitals, they have their share of ppl who come in for issues better handled elsewhere, like a minor cold, kid with a runny nose, headache, etc. The volume of patients they care for each day is mind-boggling. Could they be more efficient? Probably. But it's a great hospital if you need legit emergency care--especially if it's serious. During my last visit I came in Tuesday at noon during the height of flu season. They had me in front of a doc within 4 hours. I had to be admitted and, while they were overcrowded, I was on a floor within another 3 hours (by which time they already had me x-rayed, seen by 2 more docs, and began pumping me full of IV antibiotics). Next morning they had me a private room and took EXCELLENT care of me during my nearly 2 week stay. It was WELL worth the little ER wait.

Not in the ER. A tooth needing pulled is not something they treat in the ER. If you have a real dental emergency, there are teams there to treat as needed. An infected tooth, gum, cheek is not an emergency and you will be referred to their dental clinic

You make a appt thur financial services. Have all your documents(check stubs,ss card and license) you also have to be a resident of fulton or Dekalb counties.

They will still give u an appointment to remove it and the price will be cheaper than any dentist
