We are currently a house call only practice, which means I am out seeing cases all day and therefore not at our "office." Our office is where we perform diagnostics such as radiographs (x-rays), ultrasound, and anesthetic procedures (surgeries and dentistries). Most veterinary clinics avoid the walk ins due to the fact that it can detract from the ability to focus on the scheduled cases, as well as the patient actually walking in. Always best to give clinics a call to see if they have availability. That being said, life threatening emergencies are different and typically accepted at all stationary clinics. There are multiple 24/7 walk in emergency clinics such as BluePearl, Brooklyn VERG, or Animal Medical Center if you are needing something sooner. And there is now a new BondVet that is like a petMD for urgent care that has recently opened that is actually walk-in only. Hope this helps! --Dr. Loose
