Absolutely the perfect age group . All the rides are made for any group but especially 11 12 year olds
It does depends on the group. The park has a great deal of variety these days that may make it worth it.
I would say it depends on the group. Animal kingdom to me is part zoo and part amusement park, but I'm sure some may disagree. I love it and it was the first park we went to last month out of the four.
