What does race have to do with anything about Lady Liberty Saleem, and Dave No, she was not supposed to be African American she is already what she is supposed to be a representation of freedom and hope.
She was a gift to America from France. I would believe she is a world wide race. None in particular since many who saw her was from other countries. She is a sign of freedom.
