Is there any restrictions for bags? Would a small shoulder bag be okay? Does the bag pack have to go in a locker? Or can you keep it with you after it's searched?

After the search, the bag has to be with you. If the bag is about the size of a laptop bag, it could be carried in person

You will go thru the same security screening as you so ar rhe airport. No water bottles and all bags are screened.

Every permissible articles in carry bags, after screeing is allowed. It's your problem to lug it around.
