There is no entrance fee for the Rockefeller Center itself, but there is one for the Top of the Rock. For children (6-12) it is 28$, adults 34$, seniors (62+) 32$. You'll get a discount with the NY-pass. Book the tickets in advance so you will for sure get up there.
No fee for Rockefeller Plaza. You have to pay for Top of the Rock visit. You can book on line tickets.
If you want to go to the Observatory, i advise you to buy the city pass. The least expensive is C3 (with 3 touristic activities) and it costs less than 100 dollars (89 i think..) IT IS EXTREMELY INTERESTING
