Ehhh, about 200 yrds to the Gulf, from the top floor you can sort of see the water but not like a Gulf front type of hotel .
Very close, just a short walk
This resort is on the beachfront - you can see the ocean but this this a large beach and NONE of the resorts on this strip are right on the water - there is a huge beachfront and a promenade in between all of the resorts (even the $800 per night ones) - this has the same distance and ocean view as all of them. It's a very nice resort - some of the units face the water, the rest of the beachside units face each other with the pool in between.
We stayed across the street in the apt type rooms. On a canal that went out to the Bay. Nice spot for coffee in the morning
Not from the rooms but I would say it is still well worth it. I really enjoyed my stay there. Everything was nice and laid back.
