If you were looking for an overnight place to stay while visiting the museum, here's some info for you on local RV parks close to the museum: RV parks - Aquia Pines (4.7 miles) haven't stayed with our RV here 3071 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Stafford, VA 22554 Prince William Forest RV Campground (4.7 mi) - National Park Service Nice RV Campground, clean, and attendants are friendly/helpful 16058 Dumfries Rd, Dumfries, VA 22025 Wal-Mart (4.7 mi) I've seen people pull an overnight stay here. Personal preference would be to stay at NPS RV park over this Walmart, but to economize, I'd understand going the Walmart route. :-) 17041 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Dumfries, VA 22026 Just saw this question, so the original poster may have already visited the park. Between all of the answers given, all the bases should be covered. Enjoy your visit! The Museum is worth the effort.
Understanding your query, one of my photos shows the expanse & ease of parking at the NMCM at Quantico. It was a week day & my F350 with 8 ft bed was simple to pull in. I landscape with a 16 ft trailer & know turn ratio makes it tricky. You'll be fine.
Walmart isn't nearby, but they have plenty of room to park one at the museum.
Yeh there is plenty of room for an RV when we went there were four of them there
The museum parking lot is big to accommodate tour buses so an RV shouldn't be a problem. I'd call ahead to make sure that they don't have a big event scheduled for the day you want to go.
