Visited the Quantico National Cemetery this morning. So many times while taking Joplin Rd into Quantico Station, or to Prince William Forest National Park, I pass this National Cemetery. Today, I did something new and finally visited. It was established in 1983, consisting of 725 acres, with over 40,000 interments to date.

The admin office is closed
Don't know on transportation...its got plenty of space for large groups ...only military can be buried and wife's ...they do have civilian plots next to it and private cemetery plots all over around the area ...beautiful there no matter who you are ...wreaths across America is probably welcome there ask the corriator....at regular business hours ...or the funeral director of Mullins and Thompkins of Stafford or even Fredricksburg they can answer your questions...♥

If I'm not mistaken that veteran has to have received special honors and or medals. You can always call the cemetery for this information they are open daily.

I have seen brothers interred in the same plot, so know that is possible. I've seen adjacent plots reserved for interring husband and wife when both have served. I suspect they will do the same for brothers, so long as you coordinate it up front. You can't reserve plots until someone is interred there.
The burial is scheduled call the office to make arrangements once completed its a matter of scheduling and availability.

I would say no. That's at least a three mile walk and there are no sidewalks.
